The Wild Equity Institute works to build a healthy sustainable global community for people and the plants and animals that accompany us on Earth. It works on projects such as the 2010 Golden Gate National Parks Endangered Species Big Year, which educates the public on local endangered species and encourage public involvement in their protection. They also commit to restore the threatened California red-legged frog and the San Francisco Garter Snake through their Restore Sharp Park Campaign that aims at recreating their habitat and creating a new national park in California.
